About Me

Hi!  My name is Emily and I am a glassblower living in the mountains of North Carolina. I first took a walk-in glassblowing class in 2014 at the Asheville Glass Center, now renamed the NC Glass Center. I have been infatuated with blown glass ever since. 

I am now a full-time glass blower at the Jackson County Green Energy Park in Dillsboro, NC at at my private flameworking studio. I am a proud alumna of UNC Asheville and Western Carolina University degrees in psychology and Spanish and a masters degree in Entrepreneurship. In my free time, I love gardening, beekeeping and playing with our cats.

 I am incredibly lucky to live in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. I take inspiration from the colors and textures of the Blue Ridge Mountains that change with every season. Our region has a diverse history of blown glass art and I am proud to be a part of it.
